Our Community and Our World

The mission of First Pres begins in this community and spreads throughout the world. We are to use our resources to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with everyone we can reach.

Volunteers assist with the Back to School Clothing Distribution, the Winter Coat Distribution and the Prom Dress Event.

We collect new winter coats, new and gently used jeans for men, socks and underwear, and monetary donations for “Soles for Souls’ – steel toed work boots and shoes.

Help prepare food and host annual Christmas Party and summer Picnic for CU staff and volunteers.

Typically, this work involves  some type of home repair/construction but can also include vacation Bible schools for the children of the church where we stay. (Teens must have started 9th grade to participate.)
