Sew ‘n Sews: Could You, Would You Join Us?

Sew ‘n Sews is open to First Presbyterian women and friends who have a desire to be involved in a truly ‘hands on’ ministry

This group makes the quilts (baby & lap) along with extremely practical walker totes. Those who like to knit or crochet make baby caps and/or Prayer Shawls; non- sewers can help in matching and cutting fabric for projects, along with sandwiching & tying quilts; sewers are needed to stitch walker totes and prepare the baby and lap quilt tops for finishing.

Sew-n-Sews to Go (SnS2Go) is available for those who can’t join us on Thursdays but would like to be involved with this ministry.

Donations of material and/or money are always appreciated. We welcome and are open to new ideas and places that might have a need we can meet.

You are welcome to come on the 2nd and/or 4th Thursday as often as your schedule allows. At the end of our work session (11:45ish), many bring their own lunch and then share a wonderful dessert provided by a member.
