Family

 For unto us a Child is born; unto us a Son is given.

Isaiah 9:6a 

 

Christmas Eve–the pinnacle of our Advent season and the end of an arduous trek to Bethlehem to register to vote.  Mary and Joseph arrive in Bethlehem just in time for Mary to deliver her divine baby. Through all the trials, a couple becomes a family.

God watched Mary and Joseph go through all their hardships and watched the miracle of His divine son become human.  God gave us Jesus on this night.  All prearranged with His glorious designs in mind.

God created us in his likeness because He loves family.  He desires us to be family with Him.  Whether your family is blended through marriage, far away, or whatever your circumstances, God loves you, your family and His family around the world.

Help us to be shining examples of your love because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.  Joy to the World!

 

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the divine birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Let us never forget that Your family needs to grow.  Let us praise You this night and always.
