12.8: “Come Let Us Adore Him”

Second Sunday of Advent  (Peace)

Sunday, December 8

“He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord,  in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.”

Micah 5:4

Hope Reborn

In a world filled with turmoil, hope is reborn through God’s promise made long ago; Jesus the Christ. A promise once given will come to fruition. The Messiah, whose origin is from the beginning of time, will reach out and gather His people from the ends of the earth. All who see, will know the majesty of His greatness finally revealed for all humanity. Jesus Christ will rule in the name of the Lord God forever.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word, the Promise made, and the Hope reborn within us. You reached down with mercy and grace to be the Savior of the world. Thank you for giving use the gift of eternal life and to live with You forever. Amen.
