12.23: “Come, Let Us Adore Him”

“And suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly hosts praising God”    Luke 2:13*

I have never had an encounter with God, Jesus, or angels that was anything like what the shepherds experienced but I have had times where I am deeply aware of God’s presence with me, in me and around me.  I know He sees me.  I sense His leading.  I recognize His provision.  I know I am His.  I know I am loved.  I trust Him.  A relationship with God is what I was created for.  It is precious and sweet, a well that is deep and unending.  Enjoying God’s presence is the best news of great joy available to ALL people through Jesus.  No wonder the whole sky was lit up with angels praising God!  I join them …

Prayer:

Loving Father, You are the ultimate Giver.  I praise You for the incredible gift of your Son, who left heaven and came to earth, giving His life to make it possible for me – and ALL people – to richly enjoy Your presence now and in complete fullness FOREVER.  I join the angels in their praises!
