“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Matthew 9:35-36
“Harassed and helpless” is certainly a good description of how I feel on those days when I plod through the tasks at hand, without pausing to pray. When I do focus on our Lord and get my priorities in order and my perspective right, I know I can entrust all to Him. I treasure this applicable quote:
“It doesn’t matter how big the problem is, provided you know the infinite Problem Solver. God may not always give you the wisdom to solve your own problem. But you can always be assured that Jesus is strong enough to handle it, compassionate enough to feel it, loving enough to care for it, wise enough to deal with it. Stop looking at your problem and focus on the Problem Solver.”

Dear Jesus, I thank and praise you from the depths of my heart for being the Infinite Problem Solver. I love you and entrust everything to you. Amen.”
